Friends of LEGO Universe

I'm very dissapointed that LU ended. It was one of the few games I have gotten to conect with, not just blow everything and everyone up. If this game can come back sometime in the future, it will be a bittersweet reunion.

I played Lego Universe for a long time. I was in it during it's last moments. I also played EVE Online for several years. I am currently playing Blockade Runner.

Hello there! Thanks for visiting my site! I am the proud owner of this site. I made this site for former LU players as a place to hang out after Lego Universe ended. I am a PC Gamer, and I do a variety of games such as SWTOR, Planetside, Loadout, etc. I am also a huge LEGO fan.

For the record; I am a beta as well as a founder of LEGO Universe. I started LU on March 9, 2009 with all the other first beta testers in the closed beta. Later in the open beta; my nephew joined up. In beta; I played as JTMinifig01, Crystyn, Sk8rboiEA. Near the end of the beta (and because I was one of the first to start back up after the last update) JTMinifig01 became Jason (after my nephew for who it was named) and Skerboi EA became Evan (also for who it was named) and I added Vinnietherat becasue my nephew was using the last slot and now had his own. 

Once the game started back up for the betas who preorder on Oct. 8th, 2009; I played as VinnieTheRat - Paradox, BetaTesterPaul - Assembly, Sk8rboy - Venture Exploror and later added RoundHouseKick - Sentinal (who was supposed to be called Boot2TheHead, but didn't get appoved). The last spot was to be saved for used by my other nephew; but he only played once and never played again. So I removed the mini in the end, and played myself. 

All of my minis made it too 37th lvl or higher; with VinnieTheRat making it to 40th in the end thanks to help from Diamonds28 (Diamonds22 here). I'm hoping so of my old LU friends from the game will find the stie and join up so we can talk and remember our time on LU. I'm so very sad about the game ending; but even more sad on how it ended. I knew that in the end; they would just pull the plug on the game with little to no warning. That's what happened at the end of the beta test. Everything just when white. I lots so many friends back then cause I already knew many of them where not coming back. They had told me so. So to have to go through it again was heartbreaking. 

I was so choaked up when it happened, so when my nephew called from the other room; 'Is that it!' in such a disappointed voice; I lost it. Can you blame me. We all hoped for something special to happen. I was hoping to have a great big party just like what happeded at the end of beta; but no one came. Diamonds and her freinds went to Crux Prime to fight. My nephew left to fight the Spider-Queen one last time. Other stayed in the Plaza and talked about what they should do or fought in one of the many lands. But none of us just whated it to end like that. Just white....

I helped to make a universe a reality, and I got to watch it die; not once, but twice. Not many people can say that. I'm still so very sad about losing LU, and so very mad as LEGO for pulling the plug so fast. In the end, they just gave up. All the new stuff they promised and advertised never happened. They didn't even try to do anything.  

I will never by alright with what they did. I will never be alright with having to let LU go. Never be alright with losing my friends. Gluuey, delta, LegoMyEggo and so many others. I wish they were all here now. Maybe then I'd be ok with losing the game, for I wouldn't have lost my friends. But in the end; almost most of my friends never came back to LU; I lost them months ago. And they will never know about this site. But I'm holding out hope. Maybe some day soon. Maybe...

Until then; I will never give up LU. I lives on inside of me, and everyone who remembers.
